other just kissing the ground,
with arms spread apart
defining perfect imbalance
but still eyes gleaming and dancing with delight. . . . reflecting sheer triumph.
This’s the first time I walked, took my first step forward.
I’m 35 now but through this picture I often visit my early days.
And in this image I’m 19. I always wanted to become a model; I reached the studio for a shoot. I was flooded with calls when this portfolio landed with different modeling agencies. That day I realized the magic of camera and the man behind it. Now I’m a well established fashion model for top brands in and outside Europe.
So, this was the story of one of my clients I’ve clicked in the past 20 years.
Doing what you love is important in any creative endeavor and essential when it comes to photographing.
If I’m doing a child portrait I make kids feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. You know, these are the kind of photos that showcase child’s special character and personality. And to get these photos, you need to keep things light and full of fun. When the shooting experience is enjoyable, photographer, youngster, and parents all win!
